Mary started the meeting by leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Joe started us in reciting the 4-Way pledge and Kevin offered up Grace.
Dan Griffin was visiting with us, he is a long time resident of Enfield and learned about the Rotary Club when the Club honored his daughter at the high school recognition night.
All past Paul Harris recipients are invited to join us at Powder Hollow on the 6th to discuss candidates to receive a club Paul Harris award this year at our annual Paul Harris dinner on October 6th at Grassmere, be sure to save the date.
Our sign has been removed from the island at Phoenix Ave and Hazard Ave.
We have had low volunteer turnout for the monthly Loaves and Fishes service project so going forward will do the event quarterly.
Our next meeting on August 18th and will be a back pack stuffing event with the Windsor club at ERFC. Bring your lawn chairs as we will have dinner in the parking lot before we commence stuffing those backpacks.
The Line Dancing event is confirmed for November 1st at the Elks club. More details to follow, if you would like to help plan this fun event contact Aimee.
